·       Honorable Mention All-Star Cast – Fernanda Macias

The PSJA Southwest Theatre team will now compete at the UIL 5A State One-Act Play Contest on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center.

This year’s production, Living Out by Lisa Loomer, tells the powerful story of the complex relationship between a Salvadoran nanny and the Anglo lawyer she works for. Through themes of family, sacrifice, and identity, the play explores shared humanity while highlighting differences shaped by race, class, and immigration status.

Congratulations PSJA Southwest ECHS Theatre program for representing PSJA ISD at the highest level. Good luck at State!
